BRIGHTER MINDS DONATES TO THE SALVATION ARMY
Columbus, OH – December 20, 2005 – Brighter Minds Children’s Publishing, a publisher of children’s educational products, donated books, software, and other learning materials to the Salvation Army this holiday season.
The software titles donated to the Salvation Army included Totally Spies: Total Swamp Romp and The Land Before Time: Kindergarten Adventure. The book donation featured such titles as My Little Pony: A Very MInty Christmas, Mary Did You Know?, and My Little Pony: Sing & Play Piano Songbook. Workbooks, flashcards, card games and other educational products were donated as well.
The donation effort was coordinated by 92.3 WCOL in Columbus, Ohio. Morning show host Woody of “Woody and the Wake Up Call” was present to receive the donated product. Woody spoke about the donation efforts of all involved and of Brighter Minds Children’s Publishing in particular. “It never ceases to amaze me the generosity in people and companies.”
The Salvation Army helps countless communities around the world by providing financial, educational, and physical support. The donated product will be used directly by the Salvation Army’s Learning Zones, which give kids additional attention and support so that they can reach their full educational potential.
