Brighter Minds Donates to Franklin County Children Services Holiday Wish
Columbus, OH – December 28, 2005 – Brighter Minds Children’s Publishing, donated winter weather apparel to Franklin County Children Services Holiday Wish this month. Hats, gloves, and mittens were among the items given to the children under the care of Children Services.
“Everybody here is happy to help,” said Megan Turocy, Community Service Coordinator at Brighter Minds. “Employees brought mittens in for the cause and their donation efforts were then matched by the company. Giving back to the community is a very important part of our company’s character.”
Franklin County Children Services reaches out to troubled, mistreated, and abused children and their families. Among many things they offer such services as prevention, protection, and placement. The Franklin County Children Services Holiday Wish program helps provide these children and families with gifts during the holiday season.

This donation was one of several projects that Brighter Minds Children’s Publishing has planned in order to give back to the community in meaningful ways.
