Care Bears Lullaby Author Tour Wraps Up
Bedtime Bear made a lot of friends at each bookstore. He threw kisses to everyone when he left.
Bedtime Bear was happy to lead the children to Story Time with author Ran Flasterstein.

During the months of June and July, 15 bookstores around the state of Ohio were treated with visits from Ran Flasterstein, author of Care Bears Lullaby, and Bedtime Bear. At each site, children listened as Flasterstein read the story and Bedtime Bear acted it out. Following the story, children (and parents) had the chance to meet the author, have pictures taken with Bedtime Bear, and color their own Care Bears coloring sheets. Jody McLain, Marketing and Publicity Director at Brighter Minds Media, said, “Overall, this was a great success. We had a wonderful time meeting fans and promoting a love of reading from a young age. A special thanks to all of the parents who brought their children out for these events – and to Ran Flasterstein and Bedtime Bear, of course!�

About the Author:
Ran Flasterstein was born in Israel and moved with his family to the United States at the age of nine. Having previously been a published author of short stories, poetry, sports articles, and movie reviews – Ran has recently entered the world of children’s books. With 2005’s release “A Bright Good Night� and 2007’s release “Care Bears Lullaby,� Ran has become a published success. Ran enjoys the creative and imaginative process of putting together a story, and he dedicates much of his time participating in readings and signings at book stores, libraries, and schools in order to share his work with children and their families.
