Here’s a perfect snack for summertime! This is a snack that is relatively quick to make and can come in handy on days when you have your hands full of kids that want a tasty snack fast! In about fifteen minutes, you can have enough Oreo Dirt Cups to feed ten hungry youngsters. This snack is sure to please with its no-stress preparation and great taste.

Necessary Ingredients (for 10 dessert cups):

  • Milk (2 cups)
  • Chocolate Instant Pudding (1 packet that serves 4)
  • Whipped Topping (1 small 8 ounce tub)
  • 15 Oreo cookies
  • 10 Cups (small, 6 or 7 ounce)
  • Gummy Worms

Preparation: About 15 minutes

  1. Crush the Cookies! To avoid a large mess, I would recommend putting the cookies into a sealable bag and then crushing them. This way, the crumbs are in the bag and not in the kitchen! After the cookies are crushed, divide the crumbs between two bowls for later use.
  2. Prepare the Instant Pudding: pour the milk into a bowl and add the instant pudding mix. Use a whisk to mix these together until it has a consistent texture. Let it set for about 5 minutes.
  3. Next, mix the whipped topping together with the pudding. Also, add half of the crumbs (or one bowl if you divided them evenly after crushing them) into this mixture to create the dirt!

Pour some dirt into each of the cups. Add some of the remaining crumbs and a gummy worm to the top of each cup, refrigerate until snack-time, and—voila!—edible dirt!
