 Kid Beauty Mask

With all the excellent brain power your kids have been using playing Brainiversity and Prof. Fizzwizzle, why not give them a break from all the mind-bending fun with this easy sleep mask craft to help them relax after a hard day’s game playing. (‘Cause even geniuses need their beauty rest!)

Materials you will need:

  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Stretchy headbands
  • FeltDecorative pieces (puffy paint, sequins, glitter etc.)

How to make a simple sleep mask:

  1. Create a mask template on the piece of paper and cut out.
  2. With a pencil, trace your paper template onto the felt 2 times (makes 1 mask).
  3. Cut out the mask pieces.
  4. Using the hot glue gun and attach one strand of the headband to the back of one of the masks so that the headband lays horizontally across the mask.
  5. Next, take your second mask piece and sandwich the glued headband between the matching mask pieces and let dry. (Make sure to really glue the 2 pieces together)
  6. Once the mask is dry, it is ready for decoration!
