Spanish Translator

Job Description: The most exciting children’s publisher in the Mid-West is looking for someone to help take our online Spanish strategy to the next level. Brighter Minds Media is an educational publisher, providing children with the books and games they love! Our products feature popular children’s characters such as Care Bears, My Little Pony, Caillou, Marvel Heroes, Nancy Drew, and The Land Before Time. You’ll be our “Spanish Expert”, making sure we are supporting the needs of Spanish speaking communities as well.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Translate and write Spanish copy and content
• Research existing Spanish products and services to help us understand current trends in marketplace
• Track consumer spending habits, with a focus on families with small children
• Prepare bi-lingual presentations for internal and external purposes

Competencies

• Reliable - MUST be able to be on time
• Friendly & professional appearance
• Able to “rapidly refocus” on multiple activities throughout the day

Brighter Minds Media, Inc. is a children’s publishing company located in Worthington, Ohio. We make books, DVD games, and computer/online software. We are looking for interns, as soon as possible, interested in writing newsletters and blogs for our company. We are looking for individuals that are interested in writing and journalism.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience and build your portfolio. Our company is not far from your campus and we are flexible with students’ schedules. This is an unpaid position, but it is a great work environment and you will gain a lot of real-world knowledge.

We do require a minimum of 8 hours per week for this internship. Length of the internship depends on how long you plan to intern, but a minimum of 100 hours is required. You can do this internship for class credit.

Again, we are looking for hard-working individuals to write our newsletters and blogs for our “30 Minute-A Day”website. This is a great company to work at and fun atmosphere with friendly employees.
