Sales Account Manager
Brighter Minds Media, an interactive media publisher based in Central Ohio is expanding and is in search of a Sales Account Manager. The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales goals and management of existing sales accounts for our core business lines including: casual games, edutainment software, children’s novelty books and interactive DVD games.
The Account Manager will be expected to understand the dynamics of our multiple business lines and have a solid understanding of prospecting new accounts. International sales experience a plus.
This position is responsible for increasing sales, meeting or exceeding profitability goals, and maintaining customer satisfaction for Brighter Minds Media. Salary structure is base plus commission. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing major accounts.
- Identify and develop new accounts.
- Explore new sales channels.
- Recommend strategies to increase sales.
- Forecast trends, and develop sales goals and objectives.
- Attend trade shows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 1-2 years previous experience with sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives
- Ability to analyze sales and business trends, recommend business strategies, and deliver results
- High energy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Executive Sales Assistant
Brighter Minds Media, an interactive media publisher based in Central Ohio is expanding and is in search of a Executive Sales Assistant. The Assistant will be responsible for general office management and managing the day-to-day needs of our sales force reporesenting the following business lines: children’s novelty books, interactive DVD games, casual games and edutainment software.
The Executive Sales Assistant will be expected to understand the dynamics of our multiple business lines and have a solid understanding of prospecting new accounts.
This position is responsible for increasing sales, meeting or exceeding profitability goals, and maintaining customer satisfaction for Brighter Minds Media. Salary structure is base plus commission. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Screening/Answering telephones
- Scheduling appointments/travel arrangements
- Maintain company calendar
- Preparing sales materials for meetings, trades shows and conferences
- Setting up new accounts and alternative sales channels
- Maintain relations with current accounts, including monitoring sell through
- General office management - supplies, vendors, event planning
- Act as a liasion to Production, Creative, Marketing & Finance
Requirements:
- 2-4 years previous experience as Sales or Executive Assistant
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
