Lead Programmer Opportunity - PC/Online Games

Are you an experienced game programmer interested in working on family friendly product sold on top gaming portals and in Best Buy, Target, Circuit City and Wal*Mart?

Brighter Minds Media, based in Worthington, Ohio, is growing faster than a speeding bullet and we need at least one more super heroes to complete our lineup.

We develop and publish DVD games, PC software and children’s books. If you haven’t heard of us, don’t fret, we bet that you HAVE heard of some of our brand partners: Care Bears, My Little Pony, The Land Before Time, Jurassic Park, PBS KIDS, Cartoon Network, and Marvel Heroes.

To qualify for the Lead Programmer position you should have:

• 3-5 years game programming experience in PC and Mac environments
• At least 1 shipped or mass portal ranked title
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Familiarity with developing applications for/porting to on-line use
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and desire to work in all areas of game development
• Write super clean and well-documented/commented code
• Passionate about working on children’s and family products
• C#, Director, Blitz Basic, Torque Flash, (Actionscript, Flex and the PlayFirst SDK knowledge a plus)
